The 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday were a win for statement necklaces, diamond drama, and gowns in shades of Americana as celebrities came together to celebrate the best in television entertainment at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
The peacock-blue carpet was awash in red, white, blue, and purple as well as stunning metallics in the women’s fashion. Jewelry was subdued—why so many bare necks again?—but produced some strong reactions (both good and bad).
Nicole Kidman was a dream in her white Chanel gown and Chanel high jewelry. She joins Zendaya, who continued her streak of sartorial dominance in a crystal-covered Prada gown with Mikimoto pearls. For the reds, show host Mariska Hargitay—who’d already won two Emmys for her documentary My Mom Jayne—sparkled in a sequin gown floating in feathers (the Monse dress paid homage to one worn by Hargitay’s mom, Jayne Mansfield, in the 1956 film The Girl Can’t Help It). Niecy Nash-Betts looked stunning in her statement gown. And Emmy winner Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus) brought the heat in her Louis Vuitton accented with Swarovski.
As for the blues, two Emmy nominees got our vote. Ayo Edebiri looked every bit the star in her two-tone Chanel dress that added a little spark of something with the red bow on its back. Carey Mulligan also was a standout in her cobalt blue gown by The Row. And a special round of applause goes to Nicky Campbell for his blue Tom Ford suit coat and matching blue Audemars Piguet watch.

Lilac and shades of purple somehow showed up in a fall awards show, and Sarah Pidgeon somehow made us fall in love with her slightly retro Chanel slip dress. But one JCK favorite in the hue was Florence Pugh, whose lilac Vivienne Westwood gown and Bulgari necklace were beloved by fashion watchers (including People magazine, which crowed, “That necklace!”).
The trophies were fairly predictable: Apple TV’s slow burn comedy Widow’s Bay took home 14 wins. Noah Wyle got his second “we really like you” pat on the back for HBO’s The Pitt. And Jean Smart received her fifth Hacks award for playing the incomparable Debra Vance as the HBO show wrapped up its final season.
Here are some of the jewelry looks from the 2026 Emmy Awards that JCK editors are still talking about.
Colman Domingo

Boucheron dressed its Friend of the Maison in a full suite of its jewelry: Domingo wore the Histoire de Style, Like a Queen Green Garden brooch, two Quatre Radiant edition rings in diamonds and white gold, and a Quatre Radiant edition bracelet and earrings.
Sarah Pidgeon

The star of Ryan Murphy’s FX series Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette was a vision in a Chanel pale purple silk gown with pearl-covered straps and strands of chains on the bodice, accessorized with Chanel high jewelry. Some compared her look to the famous bias-cut slip dress CBK wore in her 1996 wedding.
Sarah Snook

Snook, a lead-actress nominee for her miniseries All Her Fault, gives the best early 2000s vibes and a truly memorable look in her Cartier jewelry. She wore Cartier ear pendants in white gold and diamonds, a necklace in white gold and diamonds, and a pair of white gold and diamond bracelets—all from the early 2000s, the brand said.
Emma D’Arcy

Talk about a layering story: D’Arcy wore a pair of Tiffany Lock pendants, a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. Fish brooch, Sixteen Stone by Tiffany & Co. earrings and ring, Tiffany diamond studs, a Tiffany Lock ring, and two Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. rings (one with pink tourmaline and another with pink sapphire).
Grace Gummer

Meryl Streep should get an award for her stunning children, both of whom made the Emmy night shine. Louisa Jacobson (The Gilded Age) wore an eye-catching black and white Tom Ford suit, while Gummer stood out in her Dior dress and her Boucheron jewels.
Gummer wore the Ruban Diamants transformable piece in a choker version from Histoire de Style, Boucheron Etoile de Paris diamond and white gold stud earrings, and Boucheron’s Vendôme Liseré diamond, white gold, and black lacquer ring with a 4.1 ct. emerald-cut diamond.
Jessica Belkin

One of the up-and-coming stars of the new Baywatch series, Jessica Belkin, added a diamond necklace from the venerable Oscar Heyman to her—what else?—red dress.
Olivia Munn

Boucheron wins again with this high jewelry look. Munn, who stars on the Apple TV–nominated drama Your Friends and Neighbors, wore the Lavallière Diamants necklace; Vendôme Liseré ear studs, set with emerald-cut diamonds, paved with round diamonds in white gold with black lacquer; the Quatre Radiant wedding band, paved with princess-cut and round diamonds in white gold; and the Quatre Radiant ring, paved with baguette-, princess-, and brilliant-cut diamonds in white gold.
