During her Spider-Man press and premiere events, Zendaya caught the jewelry-watching world in her web with pieces that were as clever as they were elegant.
Brands including A.Jaffe, Boucheron, Lydia Courteille, Fope, Jacob & Co., Stéfère, Tiffany & Co., and David Webb brought out some of their arachnid-esque jewelry, making Zendaya’s looks promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day among her best. The movie, which hits U.S. theaters on July 31, also features her husband, Tom Holland, in the leading role.
“She’s not wearing jewelry as accessories—she’s world-building,” says Australian jewelry designer Cassandra Mamone. “It allows chatter about the movie to extend beyond its plot line.… We don’t need to be reminded what she is doing or what she is promoting.”
Mamone says her favorite look were the Courteille spiderweb earrings—a design that included a trapped fly. Another was the Jacob & Co. Web collection earrings, which brought nuance to the character Zendaya built through her wardrobe.
“She and her stylist [Law Roach] are treating jewelry as a narrative, not a finishing touch. That’s quite hard to pull off consistently across an entire tour, and she’s done it stop after stop,” Mamone says.
David Ratmoko, founder of the Zurich-based Metro Models, says Zendaya’s jewelry balanced the impressive gowns she wore at events and on the red carpet—an impressive feat for someone known for her fashion.
“The other thing she got right was her restraint,” Ratmoko says. “Jewelry of this size, with a spider theme, could easily be mistaken for a costume, rather than a fashion statement.… Hers worked because the jewelry was doing the talking and not the entire look.”

Boucheron
Zendaya, at the July 27 Spider-Man movie premiere in Los Angeles, wore Boucheron’s Lavalliere Diamants pendant earrings from Histoire de Style Art Déco High Jewelry collection, paved with diamonds on white gold with onyx and black lacquer.
Tiffany & Co.
Zendaya wore Tiffany twice during her Spider-Man events: On June 17, she wore Tiffany HardWear earrings and a Bird on a Rock ring for a photo call in Amsterdam. She also wore the brand’s Sixteen Stone by Tiffany & Co. earrings, bracelet, and ring on June 25 in London.
Fope
Zendaya wore the Fope Panorama earrings in yellow gold with diamond pavé, a Solo ring in yellow gold with diamond pavé, the Flex’it collection ring in yellow gold with diamonds set in white gold, and the Prima collection double-mesh ring in yellow gold with diamond pavé for the El Hormiguero and Cinemania Espanina in Madrid.
David Webb
The actress wore a David Webb archive brooch with brilliant-cut diamonds and a detachable cushion-cut yellow sapphire set in 18k gold and platinum to the Spider-Man Shanghai premiere.
Lydia Courteille
Zendaya wore a Courteille matching set from the Archduchess collection consisting of sapphire, aquamarine, and tanzanite spiderweb earrings and a sapphire and aquamarine ring during a German fan event on June 22 in Berlin.
Jacob & Co.
Zendaya wore Jacob & Co. twice on her Spider-Man tour: first on July 17 in New York City, where she wore Jacob’s Web collection earrings with diamonds and pearls worth $30,000 with a chic white suit and black tie; then on July 20 for a movie premiere in Mexico City, where she wore Jacob’s spider-shape Web collection earrings, valued at $16,000, with a black dress and cheeky fringe bangs.
