Some jewelry collaborations could be called a win-win for the partner brands. In the case of fine jewelry brand Kinn Studio’s collab with sportswear label Prince, we’d call it love-love, as their new collection is aligned with the French Open, with more to come during Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.

The best part? Rather than interpreting tennis literally, the collection looks at qualities that the brands share—precision, balance, and proportion. It’s about the connection between the mechanics of a racquet and the construction of fine jewelry, Kinn founder Jennie Yoon says.

Yoon is a longtime tennis player, so working with Prince was fun for her. What JCK loves about the collaboration is Kinn’s schedule for the jewelry drops. The first happened May 18, to coincide with the French Open. The second is planned for June 11, linked to Wimbledon and its grass courts. And the final release comes Aug. 18, in time for the U.S. Open and its hard courts.

Here is a look at what else made JCK’s collective brain click this week.
