Jeffrey Bennett, who spent over 20 years at Tiffany & Co., has joined the International Gemological Institute (IGI) as president of its North American division.
He will work out of the grading lab’s New York City office and report to global CEO Tehmasp Printer.
Bennett worked for Tiffany & Co. from 2002 to early 2024, most recently as vice president of business development and strategic partnerships. In that position, he secured global agreements with the National Football League, National Basketball Association, and Formula 1. He’d previously served as general manager of Tiffany’s New York City flagship.
Owned by Blackstone Group, IGI went public in India in 2024, with a valuation of $2.4 billion, based on its dominance in the lab-grown diamond grading market.
