Gina Bogda (pictured) has joined Metal Marketplace International (MMI), a karat gold and silver jewelry contract manufacturer, as its director of business development.

Bogda is the eldest daughter of Tony Acquaviva, president and founder of MMI, based on Philadelphia’s Jewelers’ Row. She has more than two decades of experience in fashion jewelry sales. For nearly 12 years, she worked for San Francisco–based social retail platform Stella & Dot as a sales and training program manager as well as senior director. There, she coached a team of nearly 300 women.

She also ran a small business for five years contracting business development services, which targeted female entrepreneurs.

Bogda graduated in 1994 from Cornell University, with a degree in business management and marketing.

One of Bogda’s duties will be to re-create the company’s website.
