Reinstein/Ross Opens New R|R Gallery in New York
NYC-based goldsmith Reinstein/Ross has announced the opening of its new store R|R Gallery, featuring a showroom and in-store workshop. The new downtown spot is located on Gansevoort Street in New York City’s Meatpacking district, and is a natural extension of the company’s association with the art world. The gallery is expected to feature progressive work in studio art jewelry, along with jewelry-related fine arts, from both emerging and established artists.
The store and workshop are currently open, while the gallery will open its inaugural show this September.

Cohler Enterprises Develops New Formula for Rhodium Plating
U.S.-based manufacturer Cohler Enterprises has developed a new formulation for rhodium-plating solutions, called Superbrite. The new solution is said to lend a mirror-white finish to dipped jewelry, with its ability to plate at room temperature and with a variety of plating ranges, without burning the pieces or dulling the brightness.
