Stuller to hold a jewelers workshop

Stuller, Inc. will present its Fall Jewelers Workshop Oct. 6, 7, and 8 in Lafayette, La. The cost is $130 for the first registered by a company, and half price for additional registrations from the same business. Participants will learn about the latest techniques, tools, programs, and products.

The program will begin with a tour of Stuller’s headquarters, and an introduction and orientation from chairman/CEO Matt Stuller and president/COO Chuck Lein. Workshops and demonstrations will be held throughout the next two days.

David McKinney, Ron Bill, Matt Owens, Wyatt White, Nicole Diehl, Bob & Russ Hendricks, Glenn Kennedy, Pedro Gonzalez, and members of Stuller’s manufacturing staff will be hosting bench demonstrations and classroom sessions on the newest techniques and tools.

A full day of educational seminars will be available for store owners, managers, and associates where presenters will cover a variety of topics, including the creation of customized store marketing materials through Stuller’s new Marketing Services Program.

Bench demonstrations will include stone setting, finishing, polishing, plating, ultrasonic cleaning, and bead stringing. There will also be laser welding demos, Stuller & Paspaley setting techniques, wax carving and wax injecting demos, and mold making examples.

Educational Seminars will be held on a variety of topics by industry and trade leaders, including: Gem identification, platinum techniques, Stuller & Paspaley Products & Programs, Color trends for 2007, and the benefits of doing business with a sightholder.
