Pierre Kunz Donates Watch for MD Auction

For the second time, Pierre Kunz Geneve is contributing to a charity operation in support of research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic degenerative disease primarily affecting voluntary muscles. The Swiss watch brand has created a timepiece, The Chrono Sport Monaco, exclusively for the “Only Watch 07” auction–taking place Sept. 20 in Monte Carlo, organized by Antiquorum under the patronage of SAS Prince Albert of Monaco in conjunction with the Monaco Yacht Show

The Chrono Sport Monaco timepiece is a chronograph housed in a 44mm case in stainless steel with a “Monaco” red texalium dial. The retrograde hours and minutes chronograph function are indicated on two open sectors showing some of the secrets of the mechanisms of the racks and pinion system, revealing the entire movement. The Chrono Sport Monaco is an addition to Pierre Kunz’s existing Chronograph sport line, which unites advanced technology and original design.

The house of Pierre Kunz, a high-end Swiss watch brand is part of the Franck Muller group located in Genthod, Switzerland. Pierre Kunz launched his first collection in 2002. Pierre Kunz’s style derives from architecture and is translated into ideal proportions and perfect structures.
