JVC will collaborate with representatives of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to host a seminar, titled “Managing the Menagerie: Compliant Use of Wildlife and Plant Products in Jewelry,” on Feb. 8 at the AGTA GemFair in Tucson, Ariz.
Retailers, manufacturers, and distributors will learn which animal and plant products are endangered or threatened, and how to import them legally for use in jewelry.
JVC’s latest publication, The Essential Guide to The U.S. Trade in Materials From Plant and Wildlife Products, will also be available.
