If you didn’t get a chance to watch the 2012 Emmy Awards, you’ve probably at least heard about the red carpet fashions. Spoiler alert: Everyone you expected to win did (well, except for that guy from Two and a Half Men). And if you keep up with my blog posts, it’s apparent now that most of my jewelry wishes did not come true (collar necklaces, hello?). But once the celebs started their tour of the red carpet, it didn’t even matter. I was so entranced by the common color theme that graced a flock of leading ladies: yellow. And not just any yellow. These colors were vivid, bright, and rich. From Emmy Award winners Julianne Moore, Claire Danes, and Julie Bowen (albeit on the green side) to my personal favorite, Leslie Mann, the sunny color was everywhere. So you know what happens now, right?
