Elvis Presley’s Omega Watch Sells for $37,500 in New York

An Omega Constellation Calendar wristwatch once owned by Elvis Presley sold for $37,500 at the Dec. 11 Antiquorum auction in New York.

“We are delighted by the result for Elvis Presley’s Omega Constellation Calendar wristwatch in today’s sale,” said Evan Zimmermann, president and CEO of Antiquorum. “The outstanding outcome confirms that collectors continue to look for timepieces with exceptional provenance, adding immeasurably to their value and collectibility.” 

Other big sellers: Patek Philippe Ref. 2499, which has rare Arabic indexes, sold for $867,750; Patek Philippe Ref. 3450 sold for $189,750; and Patek Philippe Ref. 3619 sold for $129,750.

“Rare vintage Patek Philippe timepieces continue to command top prices at auction,” said Saori Omura, watch director of Antiquorum New York. “As confirmed by our December sale in New York, collectors are willing to pay a premium for unusual dials and fresh-to-the-market pieces.”
