The Swatch Group in April acquired 100% of the shares of the prestigious watch dial manufacturer Rubattel & Weyermann, located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Former owner Michel Theurillat will continue to head the company, founded in 1890, which employs some 80 persons. The company supplies watch dials to watch brands in the upper price segment both in and outside The Swatch Group.
