OTC’s SILVER RESISTS TARNISHING

Sterling Shield has a traditional lustrous white sheen. Knight Silver has a fashion-forward gray-white luster comparable to the look of titanium.

EAR CHARMS PROVIDE NON-PIERCED OPTION

Ear Charms, an earring style that does not involve piercing, made its East Coast wholesale debut at the recent Buyers Market of American Craft in Philadelphia.

Created 17 years ago by Sandra Callisto, who fainted during an ear-piercing attempt as a teen, the charms can provide the look of multiple earrings without adding holes or using clips or pressure. Designs include multiple strands that hug the edge of the ear and cascade down to the lobe. Some styles feature strands capped by cubic zirconias or genuine cultured pearls. The hand-fabricated Ear Charms feature 14k wire or sterling silver wire with 24k royal gold vermeil overlay. The principle is that the cartilage areas of the ear can comfortably hold more weight than the lobe.

Ear Charms Inc., 1855 Laguna Canyon Rd., Laguna Beach, CA 92651; (949) 494-4147, fax (949) 376-0205.
