Sterling Jewelers Inc. received the 2004 Corporate Leadership Award from the North Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals for outstanding contributions and strong spirit of giving in the community.

In addition to supporting national children’s charities and several charities throughout Summit County and in the many communities in which it does business, Sterling has supported ACCESS, an organization that provides shelter and supportive services for homeless women and children. In addition, employees at Sterling’s headquarters adopted 40 families through the Summit County Adopt-A-Family Program, prepared Easter baskets for the Summit County Department of Children’s Services, collected coats for United Disability Services, and participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
