Reiner to be Honored by American ORT

The Jewelry Chapter of American ORT will present Arthur E. Reiner, of Finaly Fine Jewelry Corp., with the 2003 ORT Community Achievement Award. Reiner will be honored at a special tribute dinner to be held Wed., Oct. 8, at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City. He will be recognized for his many career accomplishments as well as his support of various civic and charitable causes championed by the jewelry industry. Reiner began his retailing career in the early 1960s as a member of the Executive Training Squad at Bamberger's, then a division of R.H. Macy. After holding a series of positions at Bamberger's, in 1973 he was appointed senior vice president, director of merchandising for home furnishings and cosmetics.
