Yuval Kemp has left Dalumi after six years as head of marketing and business development. Liora Borosky-Chayu will take over Dalumi’s marketing and business development.

I.B. Goodman Co. appointed Greg Winokur vice president of sales for its Independent Jewelers division. He has more than 30 years of jewelry experience.

Nancy Grando recently became a consultant under contract with APA Talent and Literary Agency. She will assist jewelry brandsthrough APA’s entertainment marketing services.

Audemars Piguet named Jasmine Bapic vice president for Latin America. Bapic assumes the role following the promotion of Antonio Seward from managing director for Latin America to CEO of Audemars Piguet Spain.

Paragon Lake recently hired Cheryl Kremkow as director of content and merchandising. Kremkow, the former editor-in-chief of Modern Jeweler, will direct content for the company’s consumer jewelry e-commerce site, scheduled to premiere this spring.

REMEMBERED

Howard C. Schaefer, former CEO of Napier and Co., in Connecticut, died in December. Shaefer served as president and chief executive officer of the jewelry company until his retirement in 1985.

Jeanette Bronstein, 89, of the Diamond Dealers Club, died Dec. 26 after a long illness. Bronstein joined the DDC in 1947 as the bookkeeper and rose through the ranks to become assistant to the executive director. She retired in 1982. She is survived by her son Alan, owner and curator of the famed Aurora Collection and a leading authority on colored diamonds. Alan Bronstein says his mother was his inspiration for becoming part of the industry.
