Pandora IPO Charms Investors



Pandora’s initial public offering looks like a hit, with the first day covering the “base deal,” according to Reuters. The report said the Danish jewelry maker sold $2.16 billion in stock. A Pandora rep declined comment to JCK, and due to laws regarding stock transactions, the company’s prospectus cannot be viewed in the United States. A Pandora statement from the summer said that U.S. sales grew more than 80 percent in the first half of 2010. In 2009, worldwide sales neared $600 million, with 86 percent of that generated by its signature charms and bracelets.
