New MultiMedia Magazine for Bench Jewelers

Bench Media, the publisher of Bench Magazine and E-Bench newsletter, announces the launch of their newest publication—Bench ROM, the jewelry industry’s first multimedia magazine for bench jewelers.

Each quarterly issue of Bench ROM contains jewelry repair, stone setting, and custom jewelry manufacturing projects, along with bench tips and motivational quotes.

Presented on CD-ROM, Bench ROM allows the user to watch video instruction on a computer, print items for later use, and visit industry Web sites via the links provided. Each of the four issues in an annual subscription contains 50-plus minutes of video utilizing high magnification close-ups.

Each project is divided into steps, allowing users to watch each step in order, watch only the step desired, or skip ahead to see another segment of the project. The videos are accompanied by articles that can be printed and reviewed at the bench. In addition to the videos, computer animation is utilized to present information, and a supplier directory is included for further reference.

Minimum requirements to run Bench ROM are a computer with speakers, running Windows 95 or newer; Macintosh users will need Virtual PC to view Bench ROM. Subscriptions are $95 for one year, $150 for two years. For additional information or to subscribe, visit www.BWSimon.com/BenchRom or send a check to Bench ROM, 106 South Pinepoint Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
