Jules Rand, 64, a principal in Rand and Paseka, a manufacturer of gold and silver religious jewelry, died recently. Rand’s factory in Freeport, N.Y., which has been family operated since 1951, will continue to be run by his son, Michael, and his son-in-law, Marc Schwab.
