Jewelry-Only Sales Post Five-Year Gain

Sales at jewelry-only stores for the years 1998 through 2002 show a positive result overall. According to JCK‘s analysis of data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Monthly Retail Sales division, jewelry sales in 1998 rose 8.84% and contracted only in 2001 when sales dipped –2.2%. Over the full five-year period, sales rose 21%.
