The Jewelry Consumer Opinion Council, which regularly surveys an e-panel of fine jewelry consumers throughout North America, is conducting a comprehensive consumer and trade study on color for the American Gem Trade Association. The research will consist of a two-part tracking study to compare and contrast the results with a previous study on color.
Part 1 will study perceptions, preferences, and behaviors related to colored gemstones and cultured pearls. Part 2 will consist of a jewelry-industry study on colored gemstones and cultured pearls, targeting retailers.
