JA Redesigns Web Site

The Jewelers of America Web site (www.jewelers.org) has been redesigned with a new look and improved features. The site now allows consumers to shop online for jewelry and lets retailers place orders online for JA products and services.

The site is divided into two sections: one for consumers, and a password-protected section for members of the jewelry trade.

The consumer section contains fine jewelry and gemstone product information, information about JA and its Code of Ethics program, and a store locator feature that allows consumers to search for a local JA member store. The new Shop Online feature allows consumers to search for jewelry products; view pictures, prices, and product information; and link to JA member stores to place orders.

Only JA member retailers that have established Web sites and online catalogs through JNet will have their products included in the new product search feature.

The trade section contains detailed information about all of JA’s products and services, divided into four main areas: Education, Certification, Marketing, and Member Benefits. Jewelers can place orders online for any of JA’s products and services, including in-store educational materials, tiaras, brochures and leaflets, and more. Jewelers who do not wish to order online may print out order forms that can be filled out and sent to JA via mail or fax.

A members-only section contains information on the latest industry issues; archives of JA publications such as white papers, The J Report newsletter, and press releases; and access to additional benefits available only to JA members.

For information on JNet, or to obtain a user name and password, fill out the online form or call JA at (800) 223-0673.
