>>?Colleen Caslin, the chief operating officer of Verdura and Belperron, has left to pursue other interests.

>>?Joanne Slawitsky has resigned as president of equipment manufacturer Kassoy. Owner Hans E.R. Bosch will act as president on an interim basis.

>>?Jewelers of America elected two new board members: Mike Alexander, senior vice president of commercial lines at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., and Ronda Daily, president and CEO of Bremer Jewelry.

>>?Tim Belk, the CEO of Belk since 2004, is stepping down. He will be replaced by Lisa Harper, who was most recently the CEO of Hot Topic.


>>?J.C. Penney CEO Marvin Ellison has been appointed chairman, replacing Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, whom he also succeeded as CEO.

>>?Mary Alice Taylor, who joined Blue Nile’s board in 2000, is leaving. Her replacement is Elaine Rubin, founder and former chair of, a division of the National Retail Federation, and more recently digital retail adviser at Digital Prophets Network

>>?White Pine Trading has named Bill Gruttemeyer regional sales manager. He will cover California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii.

>>?Digital Luxury Group (DLG), the digital agency for brands including Montblanc, Blue Nile, and De Beers, has promoted Pablo Mauron to partner and managing director of DLG China.

>>?Sam Hines, the international head of watches at Phillips, has also been appointed its deputy chairman for Asia. 

>>?Terry J. Lundgren, who has headed Macy’s for more than a dozen years, will step down as CEO in the first quarter of 2017. Jeff Gennette, the current president, will take over.

>>?Former Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand has become CEO of Shinola, replacing Steve Bock. Bock will become CEO of outerwear manufacturer Filson, which, like Shinola, is owned by Bedrock Manufacturing Co.

>>?Burberry has appointed Marco Gobbetti, chairman and CEO of the LVMH-owned luxury brand Céline, its new CEO. He replaces Christopher Bailey, currently CEO and chief creative officer. When the transition takes place in 2017, Bailey will keep the title of chief creative officer and serve as president.


>>?Frederick Goldman has named Merritt Mayher chief merchandising officer. Mayher was most recently vice president of merchandising and merchandise planning at Birks Group.

>>?Antiquorum has named Charles Tearle horological consultant. Tearle joined the auction house in 2008 as director and watch expert.
