Jacob Arabo, owner of Jacob & Co., and Ellen Asmodeo, publisher of Travel + Leisure, show off their Jacob & Co.’s The World Is Yours timepieces [inset], after the watch was honored in February with a Travel + Leisure 2006 Design Award. The annual contest cites products and destinations that underscore the significance of design in the traveler’s world. The dial of the 47 mm watch is a colorful diamond-encrusted world map. The competition’s 15 winners were selected from hundreds of nominations by six experts in fashion, design, and architecture. The World is an extension of Arabo’s Five Time Zone watch (2002), a popular timepiece with globe-trekking celebrities.
