Gold: Vicente Agor’s Hokule‘a Collection and Leora Aminoff’s Stiletto Drop Earrings

The Spirit of Aloha

Vicente Agor’s new Hokule‘a collection nods to the history of the first Hawaiians—Polynesians sailing to the islands from Tahiti some 2,000 years ago. Hokule‘a is a 30-SKU line of 18k gold and silver styles with sea and sun themes featuring gems like sapphires and diamonds. (The cornerstone piece is a boulder opal pendant with a small surfer-like figure at the bottom center of the stone.) Retail prices for the collection, which evolved from Agor’s sea-inspired Swell collection, start at $750.

Shoe Business

The Stiletto drop earring collection from Leora Aminoff of Madison L takes inspiration from—what else?—shoes! The designer’s love of high heels—particularly a pair of strappy black Manolos—inspired her line of 65 dramatic earrings in 14k gold with diamonds, mother-of-pearl, black onyx, reconstituted turquoise, and more. Retail prices start at $702 per pair.
