Changes For Birmingham Show

Spring Fair Birmingham, a home- and giftware event held in the United Kingdom, has announced several changes designed to benefit North American jewelry buyers and exhibitors. The 2004 event will be held Feb. 1-5 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, England.

The Gift Jewelry section will enjoy a new central location within the gift area and the jewelry sector. The new location—Hall 9 of the NEC, a prime site at the heart of the show—will increase crossover buying opportunities, placing gift jewelry close to the gift sector, which is housed in Halls 5, 8, and 9.

In addition, the jewelry sector will receive a boost in the watch sub-sector. According to show organizers, a number of major watch brands already are signed on to exhibit in Spring Fair 2004.

The fair’s other sectors include Garden & Home Improvement, Housewares, Gallery, Greetings, Festive, Toys, Gifts, Volume, Essentia, and Design Accents. The show also will feature educational programs.
