Brindley, Thompson Honored

The 24 Karat Club, Southeastern United States, honored two of its members at the group's annual banquet, held Feb. 24 in Atlanta, Ga. Teresa Brindley, of Woodard's Diamond Showroom in Tullahoma, Tenn., was awarded the Bob Foreman Memorial Scholarship, named for the 24 Karat Club's founder. Donald W. "Donnie" Thompson, of Windsor Jewelers in Augusta, Ga., was honored as Retail Jeweler of the Year for 2001. He was recognized for his achievement in building Windsor Jewelers into a recognized regional jewelry store; for his support of a long list of charities in the Augusta and Aiken, S.C. areas; and for his continuing willingness to honor any vendor representative's wish for a product line review.
