Appointments

Saul Rosenfeld, a 35-year watch industry veteran, has been appointed national sales manager for Belair Time Corporation. He had been a regional sales manager for Belair since 1991 and was responsible for training Belair sales personnel. His new responsibilities will include management of all salesmen, all key accounts, both domestic and international.

The Harmon Group has added two assistant account executives to its staff. Cindy Chassereau will be working with a wide variety of client programs including Stuller of Lafayette, La., and Bellnor of New York City. Lisa Falkenberg is assigned to the Harmon Catalog.

Hoover & Strong has added Eugene “Gino” Gentile to its national sales team. He is responsible for introducing Hoover & Strong’s products and helping clients increase their inventory selection.

VNU Expositions has appointed Nancy Robey to the position of vice president of the VNU Expositions Jewelry Group. Robey was previously group brand director at VNU and is responsible for the development and launch of the Couture Jewellery Collection & Conference in 1995.

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has hired Terry Buckham, G.G., to lead IGI’s education efforts in Canada as well as contribute to the Institute’s courses globally. He comes to IGI from the Antwerp Diamond High Council (HRD) where he was an operations manager and oversaw business in Canada and the United States. Prior to that, Buckham worked in senior management at a large U.S. retail jewelry chain.
