Zale Corp. announced Feb. 22 that its board of directors has
appointed David F. Dyer, chairman, president, and CEO of Chico’s FAS, a member of
the board, effective immediately.
Dyer has been a director of Chico’s FAS since 2007 and has
been president and CEO since January 2009. Prior to joining Chico’s FAS, Dyer
served as president and CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Corp. from August 2003 through
May 2006, and as president and CEO of Lands’ End from 1998 through 2002.
The company also announced the resignation of Charles M.
Sonsteby from the board.
