Theo Killion, CEO of Zale Corp., will receive the 2013 DreamBuilder Award from A Better Chance on June 11 at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
A Better Chance, a national nonprofit that recruits motivated students of color, will honor Killion at its 50th anniversary awards dinner.
“Theo is an alum whose journey exemplifies A Better Chance’s mission and impact,” A Better Chance president Sandra E. Timmons said in a statement. “He’s someone whose talent may have been overlooked, but A Better Chance opened a door for him and he’s risen to the highest levels of leadership.”
