Wearing florals is a summertime tradition, and Yvonne Léon’s new vase brooch-pendant introduces a unique way to pop a posey into your wardrobe.
A charming addition to the fine jeweler’s whimsical universe, the vase—wearable as a pendant or brooch—is inspired by the romance of a freshly gathered bouquet, Léon says. And just like the brand itself, it is delicate, playful, and unmistakably Parisian.
The vase piece, along with various flower brooch-pendants that can go in it, reimagines a floral arrangement as jewelry that can last for a lifetime. True to Yvonne Léon’s signature, the design is a blend of fine craftsmanship and a quirky point of view.
Léon says the vase jewel—which is in her L’Amour collection—was partly inspired by her love of vintage and flea market treasures, though she’s added a modern twist.
“I enjoy buying flowers, visiting florists, and composing my own bouquets,” she tells JCK. “I wanted to translate this poetry into the world of jewelry through a lasting version: an evolving piece in which each person can, over the seasons, collect and choose the flowers they wish to wear.”

The piece got rave reviews from Couture attendees, many of whom admired that clients could personalize it with flowers they select, depending on mood and outfit.
The vase comes in two styles, berlingot or crystal, each retailing for €5,100.00 (roughly $5,900). Each has holes for three “flowers,” and wearers can customize it to their liking, choosing from a selection of center and side flowers.
Center flower options include a diamond and citrine daisy in yellow or white gold and a tsavorite and diamond clover. There are accent, or side, flower versions of the clover, as well as a gold stem with diamond or pearl drops as petals.
The result is a look all one’s own, each brooch or pendant a “miniature floral portrait with personal meaning,” according to Léon.
“The vase motif transforms an everyday object into something intimate and symbolic, a small vessel for sentiment meant to be worn close,” Léon says. “It captures the spirit of gifting flowers but with permanence, a bouquet that never fades.”
