Reed Exhibitions has announced the promotion of Yancy Weinrich to role of senior vice president, effective immediately. The industry veteran will oversee strategic direction and management of the entire JCK Events porfolio, including JCK Las Vegas, LUXURY, Swiss Watch, JCK Tucson, and LUXURY Privé, in addition to her continued leadership of JCK magazine.
“Yancy is uniquely prepared and qualified to lead the JCK brand,” said president of Reed Exhibitions, Nancy Walsh, in a press release. “She is a passionate advocate for the jewelry industry, and her contributions to our customers and our business have been tremendous.”
Weinrich is a 20-year industry veteran, having worked with the American Gem Society (AGS) and the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America before joining Reed Exhibitions more than 10 years ago. An international past president of the Women’s Jewelry Association, she serves on the board of directors of the Diamond Empowerment Fund, AGS, Jewelers’ Security Alliance, and Jewelers for Children. Weinrich was inducted into the New York 24 Karat Club in 2009. Under her guidance, the JCK portfolio successfully launched LUXURY Privé, as well as JCK Tucson, now in its second year.
