World’s first platinum nail polish to debut at JCK Show

Platinum Guild International will unveil a unique Platinum nail polish, housed inside a one-of-a-kind bottle with a cap and base carved out of pure platinum in the Platinum Pavilion during the JCK Show ~ Las Vegas 2005. The polish will be the first off the line of a limited supply of exclusive polishes, named I Do.

The total value of the inaugural bottle with the polish is $55,000 and will be on display at the PGI booth. It is believed to be the most expensive nail polish bottle in the world, according to PGI. The limited edition polishes are valued at $250, per bottle.

The nail polish, bottle, and cap and base are the result of a collaboration of PGI, Allure Magazine, Essie Cosmetics, Johnson Matthey, and Henry Dunay.

Essie Cosmetics, a nail care company, created the sheer nail polish with pure platinum dust provided by Johnson Matthey. The top and base for the first bottle off the line was created by award winning designer Henry Dunay.
