The World Gold Council has promoted Sally Morrison to the position of managing director, jewelry.
She will be responsible for the organization’s jewelry operations.
Morrison came to the WGC in 2012 from Forevermark, where she was chief marketing officer. She had helped develop the LoveGold digital brand, which has been nominated for a GEM Award for Communications. She had previously held positions at JWT, Miramax, and the Foundation for AIDS Research (amFAR). She will be based in New York City.
In a statement, Morrison said she “look[s] forward to continuing to expand the LoveGold platform and working with innovative designers, stylists, and artists to promote the use of gold in luxury jewelry.”
