The Poolside Welcome Reception at the Venetian will open the invitation-only LUXURY & PREMIERE, being held May 27-29 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
“We have put together a terrific line-up filled with world-class special events and industry speakers who will be sharing their wisdom with hundreds of hosted retailers and high-end manufacturers,” said Yancy Weinrich, Industry vice president for the events. “LUXURY & PREMIERE will offer a spectacular showcase of the most sophisticated and high-end jewelers, and several wonderful networking events for all to enjoy.”
Jim Taylor, vice chairman of The Harrison Group marketing and branding firm, will present the opening keynote during breakfast.
Following the keynote, the Salons will be open until 7 p.m. (an hour later), where more than 200 of the most elite brands will be located under one roof. In the afternoon, attendees will be hosted to a gourmet luncheon as well as an afternoon snack of Haagen Dazs Ice Cream, sponsored by Veranda magazine, and cigar rolling and scotch tasting, sponsored by Inside Weddings magazine.
The evening features comedian Dana Carvey, sponsored by JCK magazine. Following, all full access badge holders are invited to the “Late Night Lounge” at the 40/40 Club in the new Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino.
Networking events on May 28 begin with a breakfast keynote presentation by John Clarkin, national sales director of Wmagazine who will discuss “Connecting with the Luxury Consumer.”
The Salons will be open at 10 am with a gourmet lunch. At 4:30 p.m., retailers are invited to the American Gem Society Signature Drink Cocktail Reception in the Foyer. Salons will close at 6 p.m.
In the evening, LUXURY retailers can enjoy several outstanding restaurants in the Venetian and Palazzo Hotels during the return of the Dine-Out Program. Participating restaurants include: SushiSamba, B&B by Mario Batali, Bouchon, Dos Caminos, Delmonico’s, Carnevino by Mario Batali, Morels, TAO, Table Ten, and Trotter by Charlie Trotter.
On May 29, Andrea Hill of Hill Management Consulting and Training, will present “Differentiation Blueprint: Using Strategy and Brand as Tools to Set your Business Apart,” during the Breakfast and Keynote Presentation.
Salons will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and will include lunch, cigar rolling and dessert wine tasting.
