Women’s Wear Daily’s vaunted print newspaper is transitioning to a weekly format, its site announced March 12.
The final daily edition will be published Apr. 24.
Current subscribers will receive the weekly edition as well as The Daily Digital, a compendium of the day’s top stories.
The note says the century-old fashion trade is committed to daily journalism and plans to add overseas bureaus in China and Brazil and reinvigorate its site with more news and content.
Penske Media bought the publication in August.
