Baby, it’s cold outside. The fall weather I so treasure somehow lost its way between the hot, sticky temperatures of summer and the cold, harsh winds of winter that make my ears throb and my toes go numb. And while I’m looking forward to the upcoming holiday season with thoughts of family gatherings, cocktail parties, and, perhaps most eagerly, Christmas cookies, the other half of my brain is dreaming of soaking up the sun someplace warm and green, where flowers endlessly bloom and the temperature never dips below 80.
