Once again, it’s time for the Jewelers of America’s annual Cost of Doing Business survey for retail jewelers.

Results of the confidential survey will be compiled into the 2014 Jewelers of America’s Cost of Doing Business Report.  

JA offers a number of incentives to encourage retailers to take the survey. In addition to receiving a free copy of the report, which normally costs $199.95, participating retailers will receive a customized Performance Analysis Report, which compares their own financial data to industry averages. JA is also offering retailers the chance to win cash incentives for filling out the survey—this year they will be giving away one $500 American Express gift card each week to one randomly chosen participant during the four weeks of the survey. 

The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is available at profitplanninggroup.com/jewel. The deadline to participate is May 12, 2014.
