87 percent are college grads compared with 67 percent of the budget category. And 30 percent of luxury brides also boast post-graduate degrees (compared with 17 percent of their budget counterparts).
Better With Age
The average high-end bride (27.4 years) is ever-so-slightly older (26.2 years).
Something Green
Combined income: $102,757
That’s the average total combined income for all members of the high-end bride’s household in 2010. (Compare that with $63,189 for the budget category.) The median income was $87,500 and $47,500, respectively.
