What’s Selling in Stores This Week: Fashion Jewelry

We asked four retailers from different areas of the country to share their best-selling fashion jewelry this week:

SOUTHEAST

Carroll’s Jewelers, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Frederic Sage sterling silver-and-gemstone looks, starting at $600. “They are big, bold looks that are very colorful and affordable,” notes store manager Luke Moorman. “They sell because of the design.”

NEW ENGLAND

Folco Jewelers, New Bedford, Mass. Aurea sterling silver collection, starting at $100. “We sell a lot of the bracelets, necklaces, and rings,” says store owner and manager Tony Folco. “They’re very stylish because they’re so different.”

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Whitby Jewelers, Collegeville, Pa. Nomination braided leather bracelet, $65. “The bracelets coordinate to different adjectives, like ‘love,’ and ‘energy,’” saleswoman Olivia Whitby points out. “They came out around March and have been a top-seller since.”

MIDWEST

Luecke Jewelers, Freeport, Ill. Colore Lorenzo collection 18k gold and sterling silver blue topaz checkerboard ring, $320. “The gemstones are really beautiful,” says sales associate Mary Loring. “The collection is a year-round best-seller.
