What’s Selling in Stores This Week: Earrings

We asked four retailers located in four corners of the country to share their best-selling earrings this week.

EAST

Nelson Coleman Jewelers, Towson, Md. Colore SG by Lorenzo sterling silver and green amethyst drop earrings, $150. “The pop of color makes them popular,” says inventory manager Amie Schiffman. “Also, they’re very lightweight and go with everything.”

SOUTH

Goldstein’s Jewelry, Mobile, Ala. Elle sterling silver blue topaz lever-back earrings, $220. “The color is very popular and the glass adds a nice shine,” says store manager Angela Underdown, adding, “They’ve been popular for weddings and graduations.”

CENTRAL

Holland Jewelers, Moline, Ill. Sylvie diamonds-and-white-gold hoops, $500 to $1,500. “They have a nice classic style,” says store president Jeff Holland.

WEST

Runyan’s Jewelers, Camas, Wash. Charles Garnier sterling silver Constellation earrings with rhodium finish, $75 to $135. “They have a really classy look,” says Debra Runyan, owner. “You can wear them casually or, with a dress, very elegantly. They’re versatile.”
