SOUTH
Atlanta Diamond Design, Alpharetta and Cumming, Ga. Trollbeads, $28-$1,503. “Our customers are crazy about these gorgeous, handcrafted beads. Every bead has its own story. [Customers] like to get the beads with a story that resonates with them.” (via Facebook)
EAST
Sydney Rosen Company, Philadelphia. Custom-made Liberty Bell charm in sterling silver, 10k gold, and 14k gold, $25- $150. “We’re a block away from Independence Hall, so the Liberty Bell charm sells well with those looking for a souvenir of their visit to Philadelphia,” says store president David Rosen. “People gravitate most to the sterling silver charm because it’s the most price-conscious.”
NORTH
Fremeau Jewelers, Burlington, Vt. Chamilia charms, $35-$70 “Anything with crystal is a big seller,” says Anna Frenette, the store’s director of communications and training. “People just like color and sparkle. It goes well with a lot of different charms.”
CENTRAL
Edgardo Jewelers, Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Guardian Angel Pandora charm, $40. “People like the symbol of the guardian angel because they see it as keeping them safe,” says store owner Dean Agius. “People get it for gifts and for themselves.”
