H2 Events, run by Howard Hauben, and the California Jewelers Association (CJA) have agreed to jointly promote a new West Coast fine jewelry trade show called, “The Holiday Buying Event” (formerly The Pacific Jewelry Show). The show, designed to serve the holiday ordering needs of retail jewelers, will be held Aug. 28-29, 2005, at the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in Los Angeles.
Exhibitors will be located in two ballrooms in the hotel and will include an area focusing on prestige-level designers and manufacturers.
The show will host CJA’s annual Robert Westover Award Dinner. Recent award recipients include Richard Horne of Shreve & Co. of San Francisco and Marion Halfacre of Traditional Jewelers, Newport Beach.
In addition, plans are in the works already for an exhibitor sponsored, post-show reception for all attendees and exhibitors on Sunday evening.
