The World Diamond Council will convene its 2nd Annual Meeting March 12 and 13 in Milan.
Nicky Oppenheimer, Chairman of the De Beers Group of Companies, will address the general session and Abbey Chikane, Chairman of the Kimberley Process, will attend the meeting throughout. In addition, representatives from many of the world’s governments, diamond industry leaders and delegates from several NGO’s attending the meeting will have an opportunity to address the assembly.
Cibjo, The International Confederation of Jewellery, Silverware, Diamonds, Pearls and Stones, is hosting the meeting.
A press conference is scheduled following adjournment of the general session on the 13.
