Ways to contribute to the tsunami relief effort

Time hasn’t eased the shock of the Dec. 26 earthquake off the coast of Indonesia and the massive tsunami in the Indian Ocean that followed. Instead, it has magnified the impact of the disaster, which has flatten coastal communities in an area spanning 4,000 miles, left millions homeless, and created a death toll beyond 150,000 and rapidly rising. It is being described by relief experts as one of the worst natural disasters in recent history.

Because of the urgency of the dollars needed, we at JCK encourage your individual contribution to this relief effort. Our parent company Reed Elsevier is making an immediate initial contribution of $100,000, to be given to UNICEF, The Red Cross, and Save the Children.
