Watchepedia Company, creators of the Web site Watchepedia.com, has released Yooodle.com, a new search engine dedicated to watches.
In an effort to create a powerful and specialized web tool for people searching for watch brands and other watch-related products,
Watchepedia designed the search engine, named Yooodle, in honor of what the popular Swiss mountaineers call, the yodel. The tool will allow usersw to search for watch brands and watch-related products.
Joe Urich, co-founder of Watchepedia, says that by using Yooodle as the primary search engine for all watch needs, results will be more accurate and users will spend less time sifting through websites unrelated to watches.
“With Yooodle, you don’t need to know the spelling of a particular brand or even the entire name,” said Urich. “We’ve created this engine specifically for watches, so there are only few search results that are not watch related.”
Watchepedia introduced Yooodle on its watchepedia.com Web site and the early feedback has been very positive, the company said.
