Retailers: For the fourth year in a row, JCK needs your help to pick the “Best of the Best” in jewelry design.
It’s time once again for retailers to tell the industry what they really think…about good design. Entries into the fourth annual JCK Jewelers’ Choice Awards are now live online and ready to receive retailers’ votes. And if you’re a manufacturer who’s curious about the competition, it’s okay to look!
With more than 300 product entries—a 30 percent increase over last year—the awards are a great way for designers and manufacturers to catch the eyes of store owners, and an easy way for retailers to see new styles and learn about artists.
When the contest launched in 2008, JCK publisher Mark Smelzer told readers he was “thrilled by the excitement and energy these awards have created.” Now that the contest is much-anticipated fixture on the JCK calendar, he’s even more resolute in his feelings that it “has clearly demonstrated our industry’s high levels of creativity, drive, and involvement.”
Voters select one favorite product across 17 categories and 44 separate product and price ranges—as well as one grand-prize winner for the entire contest, which will be featured on the cover of JCK’s March issue. All winners will be spotlighted in the magazine, while winners and finalists will be featured in a “Best of the Best” Jewelers’ Choice Awards supplement in April. Then in June during JCK Las Vegas, expect to see a photo display of winners at the welcome reception in JCK.
Plus, retailers who log on and vote will automatically be entered to win a four-night stay at Mandalay Bay (sponsored by JCK Events) during JCK Las Vegas 2011, held June 3 – 6.
Voting is open now through Dec. 30. Finalists will be notified in January. Sponsors include the Israel Diamond Institute, Silver Promotion Service, Tanzanite Foundation, Duvenjian Graphics, and JCK Events.
