New York–based jewelry designer Gabriel Urist has designed a limited-edition set of necklaces inspired by chef Dominique Ansel’s famed croissant-doughnut mash-up, the Cronut.
The handcrafted pendant capsule contains brass Cronut flakes cast from actual Cronuts. Cronut is engraved on the bottom of the vial, should the recipient not be able to immediately discern its contents.
Just 100 are available as part of a #CronutIsForever gift set, which also features two Cronuts (for eating, not saving). The $100 gift set is available exclusively through Virgin Mega, a retail app that allows users to “stand in line” for products, starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
