In the newly created role, she will head up strategy and growth opportunities
Uta Werner is Signet Jewelers’ chief strategy officer, a new position at the company.
Werner will be responsible for strategy development and execution. She will report to CEO Mark Light and serve on the company’s executive committee.
Most recently, Werner was the executive vice president, global product leadership at Nielsen, and prior to that she was the chief strategy officer at Xerox. She is a board member of the Forté Foundation, a nonprofit consortium of corporations and business schools that aims to further women in business.
