A platinum ring with a 15 ct. fancy yellow diamond is among the highlights of the latest auction by the U.S. Marshals Service, which will be broadcast online on Aug. 18.
The ring is valued up to $180,000. Another highlight is a platinum necklace, valued up to $117,500.
The 225 lots, ranging from fine jewelry to gold coins, were seized from federal court cases across the nation. Proceeds will be used to compensate victims of crime, and help law enforcement programs.
The auction will take place in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. CDT at the Adrian Spears Judicial Training Center. The Web simulcast can be accessed at txauction.com.
